Franky is the Head of Asia Business Activation at the Bank of New Zealand who significantly contributes to the strategic development and execution of the BNZ Asia Strategy. This is an enterprises-wide national role that is directly held responsible for the strategic delivery of the Consumer & Partners to SME division as well as the Wealth division and Corporate and Institutional Banking across BNZ. Franky is also the founding committee member of the BNZ diversity and inclusion council.

Other than banking, Franky sits on the Board of Kāhui Tū Kaha who chairs the Finance committee which is a not-for-profit provider of housing and mental health services that is a Ngāti Whātua organization and distinguished by their diversity. Franky is currently sitting on the Institute of Directors (IoD) Auckland branch committee. Mentee of the IoD Mentoring for Diversity programme 2019.

He also volunteers with his son for Cure Kids as the first and only Asian Special Advocate tasked with promoting the Cure Kids brand in the Asian community in New Zealand. Franky has strong business networks, domestic and overseas contacts, is bilingual and understands ethnic and geographical challenges and opportunities in the business and governance space.
