Having worked for more than 18 years as a tertiary education provider, he has an in-depth understanding of the New Zealand Education sector, stakeholder management, product development and strategic pathway development.

Bharat has been a former Board Member of India New Zealand Business Council, a former member of the Institute of Directors, New Zealand, and Emerging leader, New Zealand Asian Leaders and a Fellow at the Institute of Managers and Leaders, Australia and New Zealand and was recently selected as Top Diverse board ready director by Superdiversity Institute of Law and Ministry of Ethnic Communities.
